Most of you will know that Chris is a partner at Armstrong Murray, but you may not know he’s our unofficial parking warden. In our office, he’s revered for his remarkable ability to work with one eye on the car park at all times, always ready to race down the stairs and apprehend anyone who dares to sneak in and take the spaces reserved for our clients.

Our team respects Chris for his empathy and kindness. He is very caring and has a genuine concern for the wellbeing of all our staff and clients.

His clients are loyal to him because he explains things in plain English, never confusing them with legal jargon. He relates well to people from all walks of life and is a good listener, always ensuring he understands his clients’ concerns properly so he can come up with an appropriate solution.

Oh, that’s a hard one. Possibly not the best book I’ve ever read, but one that made a big impression on me was ‘The Boys in the Boat’ – a book about US rowers preparing for the Olympics. It’s a perfect example of doing whatever it takes to achieve your goals.

Seeing my kids being born.

18. What could you give a 30-minute presentation on with no preparation?
